Linguistic Profile of Attar's Divan

This analysis was applied to the complete English translation of Attar's Divan — all 852 ghazals. The text was processed using natural language processing (NLP) to extract word frequencies, part-of-speech profiles, and key phrases using the RAKE algorithm.

Attar's Divan is a work of intense Sufi mysticism. Even in English translation, the analysis reveals the dominant themes: the soul (heart, soul, love) and action (become, be) dominate his vocabulary — confirming the Sufi emphasis on transformation and becoming.
